Ioannas House is a lovely place to stay. Our room was very clean and lovely decorated. We loved our little balcony with an ocean view. It’s in a great location in Mykonos Town as it’s close to all the shops and restaurants.

Stayed here for two nights and really loved it. When I arrived I couldn’t find the entranced so I called the owner. In just seconds she was standing in front of me to help. She was very friendly and helpful I felt very welcome. The room looked really nice. It was spacious and very clean. The location is also perfect. It’s close to everything in a quiet part of the city. I would really recommend this accommodation.

We stayed in a nice clean room. It is located in a tradiotional small quiet street downtown. A Gentle lady welcomed us! Price was high for such a room, but it was a good one comparing with others in the expensive island! Everyone should experience Mykonos nightlife!

If arriving by ferry, catch the land bus or sea bus from the new port to the old port. From Old Port walk to Manto Square (approx 5 mins). Look straight ahead at the buildings and look for the “Stairs” Cafe @54 ClubLounge, take the stairs on the right and you will find Ioannas. It’s close to the Chora, yet far enough to allow you peace and privacy. When we arrived Ioanna was busy preparing a room, she greeted us warmly and explained one of the two rooms were ready. We were able to leave our bags to go stick beak Mykonos. This was the only time we saw Ioanna, all further contact was either via text message or short handwritten note to sign our bill. Our balcony room was upstairs boasting a modern, fresh outlook with neutral tones, presenting with a small but ample space for two. There were slight sea views across roof tops and impressive evening sunset. The second room was at street level and catered for four people, though we booked for two. This room was far more spacious, even with two double beds. One of the beds were not prepared with clean sheets on our first evening and unfortunately we did not realise this till after a late night out. I messaged Ioanna the next morning and sheets were provided. Both rooms:Functioning air conditioning which was refreshing to escape the hot days. Coffee machines with pods and tea making facilities. Two water bottles are provided on arrival, guests can then purchase their own. Modern bathroom facilities. Note the showers are the tiniest I have ever encountered and the shower curtain is quite painful because its permanently stuck to you when showering and the entire bathroom gets wet, so its actually quite useless. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear everything, including when someone coughs in the next room, conversations in stairwells etc. If you are a light sleeper as I am this can be a little deterring. Within easy walking distance and literally 5 mins to all of the following. Little Venice The Windmills Churches Restaurants, Cafes, Bars. Mini Markets Bakeries Matogianni StreetNight clubs Shopping Bus stop Rental Car/ATV/Motorbike agenciesOngoing communication before arrival was excellent. I booked through booking.com. In my humble opinion it is a little overpriced, despite the location.

I stayed last summer and just booked again for this summer!! I would highly recommend to anyone. The room was very clean & spacious, the staff is friendly & helpful. Above all the location is perfect.

Having stayed in many properties in Mykonos , Ioannas House is average , clean with comfortable rooms , basic , poor wifi connection , too expensive for what it is, but thats Mykonos prices for you! The location is pretty good , however, steep stairs to climb to get to it , as its near the harbour getting to the property is not entirely possible by car so be prepared to walk with luggage, Ioanna is very pleasant and helpful. All in all we enjoyed our stay but I doubt we would stay here again as we didn’t think it was good value for the money paid and w`ed prefer to me nearer the main bus stop as there is are more choice on cafes , restaurants etc.

Very close to the center you can reach it by walking. Very clean room, wifi always available, owner very polite and welcoming and logic price ! Room had exactly what it says it has. It was quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much

Clean and affordable, we stayed in a 4-bed room, spacious enough and very central. Use the seabus for only 2 euro to get to and from the new ferry port to the old port. much quicker and cheaper than a taxi.

We stayed for four nights in this hotel and it was so lovely! Really good sized room with a balcony big enough to sit out on. The room was clean and tidy and the bathroom was a good size with nice shower. We met Ioanna and her daughter and they were both welcoming and friendly and easy to get hold of on the phone. The location of the hotel is just up one street from the old port – really easy to get to and a very central location. You can easily walk to the main streets where bars and restaurants are and to local shops to pick up water and supplies etc. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one travelling to Mykonos, great for a short break or a longer stay.
